Jean-Yves Moulinier of the "Economécophiles du Limousin" brings some information about this Klapp:
"I have the same and what struck me is the similarity with the Pocket Zion: they are identical but inverted: When put them side by side, it is as if there was a mirror between the two .. The parts used are the same, so there is a good chance that the manufacturer will be identical.
Moreover, this Klapp can be found in the DUNMORE catalog (22 rue St Augustin Paris) of June 1926 under the name "Pliant WEDIX" as the model B, which can be delivered with Ibso, Vario or Compur shutters and Wed lens 1: 6,3 Or 4.5 or Hermagis 1: 6.3
Also in this same catalog is a SYLA klapp (yes with a Y !!) identical to the well known Siva. "
We may also find an identical device under the brand Demaria-Lapierre, but without being able to say if it was the manufacturer.
Mazo offers the same under the name "Pocket Pliant Colonial".
